SunGard
is a financial services company for whom we have been providing ongoing
design and printing. Recently, they held a three-day seminar/workshop
in Los Angeles to bring clients (treasury managers of Fortune 1000
companies) up to speed on a new product. They wanted the attendees
to respond to a user survey for planning future conferences. The challenge
was making this survey something everyone would really be willing
to fill outnot just a form or a dull sheet of questions!
Since
this user conference was to take place in southern California we came
up with a design that was fun, sunny, and included a pair of sunglasses
that SunGard was giving away to each person. Our creative team designed
a hand-illustrated four-page survey in full color and also helped
write the copy. There was a die-cut slit in the fold which contained
the sunglasses. No one could resist picking up the piece, and once
opened, the questions were friendly and casual, eliciting response.

the end of the conference, they knew all the needs and wants of their
clients! They told us that this was a GREAT company money saver and
